Viva Vocalists is excited to announce our next performance class!

“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”

Class will consist of acting workshops and assignments, master class style study of songs, scene study, and vocal coaching. Students are expected to learn and memorize music outside of class (recordings of parts and accompaniment will be provided).

*New students must audition before being admitted. Details will be provided to you shortly after registration. If you are admitted into the class, you are guaranteed a role.

SCHEDULE NOTES- On Saturdays, not everyone will be called all the time. Specific schedules come out a week in advance. The later we get in the process, the more the whole cast will be called for Saturdays. Everyone is called Mondays. The doors will open 30 minutes before each rehearsal for set up. You are welcome to come warm up, eat, practice, etc. There is a full kitchen.



*Tuition is $475 and the cost of printing your own score (though you may use a tablet instead).

*A non-refundable deposit of $75 is required to hold your place in the class (preferred before callbacks).

*Payment plans are available, we accept 3 payments (June, July, August).

*Partial scholarships are available, please inquire for details and application.

About VivaVocalists

Viva Vocalists is a contemporary performance class taught by Shawna Avinger, Kristen Ramer Liang, Daniel Story, and Janna Wachter. Viva Vocalists has partnered with The Esoterics as their education ensemble! Students ages 16 and older learn and perform scenes from opera and musical theatre (one-act operas, original musical revues and choral masterworks). Skills learned include acting, dialogue, sight-singing, music theory, costume, make-up and much more.
